Generator Installation
TMR Generators installs new standby generators for existing homes, new construction and businesses from New Boston, Texas. Every install covers sizing, code-compliant placement, properly sized fuel lines and transfer switch wiring. We install Generac and Briggs & Stratton units and also service Kohler. How an install works
- Site visit and sizing. We look at what you want to back up (whole home or essentials), your electrical panel and service, and your fuel source.
- Placement. The generator is placed to comply with local codes and the manufacturer’s clearances.
- Fuel lines. Fuel lines are properly sized and installed correctly.
- Transfer switch and wiring. Wiring from the transfer switch to the generator is properly sized and routed for the cleanest look.
- Start-up and walkthrough. We test the system and show you how it works.

- Load shedding/management so a right-sized unit can handle large loads like AC
- Remote monitoring so you can see the generator’s status from your phone
